Nick Reilly, LAC

Therapy may feel intimidating at first, but it's a safe space for self-discovery and growth. The therapeutic relationship helps us uncover our true selves and reach our goals. I aim to create a supportive environment where you can be your authentic self and make meaningful progress!

I hold a Bachelor's in Health Promotion with a certificate in Sport Psychology from Rowan University, and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Relationships from Monmouth University. I served as President of the honor society, Vice President of the Counselor Student Association, and am a current member of the American Counseling Association. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor, A National Certified Counselor, and a Disaster Response Crisis Counselor

I have experience working with college students, young to middle-aged adults, and high school-aged individuals. My focus includes career counseling, anxiety, depression, Alcohol and substance abuse, time management, chronic illness management, relationship and sexual issues in individual sessions, assertiveness/communication skills, and self-worth. I also have a background in Exercise Science and Sport Psychology.

I draw from an eclectic approach of all theories but tend to focus more on various Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. My approach is to focus on the positive, set achievable goals, and help clients discover their strengths in the present moment. I strive to create a safe space that fosters autonomy, allowing you to shape the therapeutic experience to fit your needs.

Instead of accepting a destiny we don't like, courage lies in changing it to what we want. That first step begins when you enter the room to start your journey, and I look forward to being part of your path toward achieving your goals!
